A customer in Coral Springs opens ChatGPT and asks for a reliable accountant nearby. A tourist in Fort Lauderdale asks Google for the best Cuban bakery within a mile. Neither one scrolls ten blue links anymore, and the businesses that get named in those answers are winning work the others never see. That shift is the subject of the first of two free AI webinars SCORE Broward has put on its fall calendar.
The second is aimed at owners who are still at the starting line. On Saturday morning, Nov. 7, 2026, the chapter hosts a beginner session taught entirely in Spanish on the AI tools a small business can use today. Both are online, both are free, and both come from the Hollywood based chapter of the national volunteer mentoring network.

Oct. 27: Will AI Recommend Your Business?
SCORE describes the session as a practical 60 minute look at how ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Google AI Overview decide which companies to surface, compare and recommend when customers ask who to hire or trust. Presenter Michael A. Peggs Jr. explains how AI visibility differs from traditional search and walks through a framework built on four ideas: Context, Content, Credibility and Confidence.
The listing also promises a look at the signals that shape those recommendations, including entity maps, structured data, content clusters, reviews and citations. Attendees are told they will leave with a simple visibility check to see how their own business appears today. SCORE’s page identifies Peggs as a fractional CMO and founder of Marccx Media, an AI SEO agency headquartered in New York, who is based between Miami and New York.
Nov. 7: AI Tools for Small Business, in Spanish
The Spanish session is built for true beginners. According to the SCORE page, it opens with the basic terms an owner should know, such as prompt, source, model and generate, then covers seven tools and what each one does in daily work. Live demonstrations follow, and the session closes with three practical rules for using AI with confidence and responsibility.
The agenda also covers which tool to use for drafting, rewriting and summarizing text, where to look for a fact that can be checked against a source, how to get answers based only on your own documents, and how to create images, video and audio. One point runs through the whole session: every AI answer should be reviewed before anyone relies on it. Presenter Mike Pina was born in São Paulo, grew up in South Florida and founded AI RocketShip LLC.
Which One Fits Your Business
Owners who already use AI at the counter or in the back office, and who care about being found, should start with Oct. 27. The topic speaks directly to service businesses that win work on referrals and reviews, from contractors to clinics. Owners and staff who are new to the tools, or who work more comfortably in Spanish, will get more from Nov. 7.
Many teams will want both. A sensible plan is to send the person who handles marketing to the October session and a front line manager to the November one, then compare notes. The chapter also lists a free online session, Outstanding Ai Tools for Your Business, on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026 at 6 p.m. EDT, for owners who want an earlier start.
How to Register
Registration runs through each event page on score.org: the Oct. 27 Will AI Recommend Your Business? page and the Nov. 7 IA para pequeñas empresas page. Questions go to SCORE Broward at (954) 589-5293 or the chapter office at 6565 Taft St, Suite 403, Hollywood, FL 33024. The chapter also offers free one on one mentoring for owners who want help after the webinars.
