This Privacy Policy explains how Sundaze Gazette collects, uses, and protects information from readers, newsletter subscribers, and visitors. Last updated May 12, 2026.
Who we are
Sundaze Gazette is a regional business and creator economy publication operated by Brian D'Antoni from South Florida. The site is at https://www.sundazegazette.com. Privacy questions: privacy@sundazegazette.com.
What we collect
Email address (newsletter)
When you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address. We use this to deliver the newsletter and to send occasional editor's notes. We do not sell or share your email address with third parties.
Site analytics
We collect anonymized site analytics — page views, referrer, browser type, country-level location, and the like — to understand which stories readers are reaching and to improve coverage. Analytics is provided by Ghost's built-in member & analytics system and does not use third-party advertising trackers.
Comments & member-area submissions
If you submit a comment, a story tip, a correction, or a directory listing, we keep what you submit so we can respond and reference the exchange. We do not publish your contact information without your permission.
Cookies
The site uses functional cookies, including Ghost's session cookie for logged-in members, and the anonymized analytics cookie described above. We do not run third-party advertising cookies.

Who we share information with
We use a small set of third-party services to operate the publication. The categories:
- Hosting and CMS: Ghost Pro (Ghost Foundation) hosts the site and stores newsletter subscribers.
- Email delivery: Mailgun (via Ghost) sends newsletter emails and member transactional emails.
- Search: Sodo Search (via Ghost) powers on-site search and operates client-side without sharing your queries with us.
- Domain registration / DNS / CDN: infrastructure providers handle the network layer but do not access subscriber data.
We do not sell your data. We do not share email subscribers with advertisers. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Your rights
You can:
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom of every newsletter email.
- Request deletion of your email address from our records by emailing privacy@sundazegazette.com.

Data retention
We retain newsletter subscriber data until you unsubscribe and request deletion. Story tips, corrections, and other inbound emails are retained for editorial reference; we delete or anonymize them when they are no longer editorially useful, or earlier if you request deletion.
Children
Sundaze Gazette is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
