For one week in November, the biggest creative software conference in the world moves into South Florida’s backyard. Adobe MAX 2026 runs Tuesday, Nov. 10 through Thursday, Nov. 12 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Drive, with two days of preconference training on Nov. 8 and 9. For designers, editors, photographers and small studios from Homestead to Jupiter, the usual cross-country flight has turned into a drive over the causeway.
That changes the math. Adobe lists the regular full conference pass at $1,995, and in most years the plane ticket and hotel nights add as much again. A South Florida owner can skip the airfare, decide night by night whether to stay on the beach, and still get three days of keynotes, labs and a show floor full of the tools their clients already expect them to use.

The full pass covers keynotes, Sneaks, sessions and up to three labs, the Creative Park, the Welcome Reception, breakfast and lunch on all three days, and the Bash.
Know the Fine Print Before You Buy
The refund window has already closed. Adobe’s FAQ says cancellations before Oct. 1, 2026 received a 50% refund, and requests after Oct. 1 receive no refund. A pass bought this week is a firm commitment, although Adobe does allow a substitution: the original attendee and the replacement both contact event support so the badge can move to someone else on the team.
Registration requires a free Adobe account, not a paid subscription. Sessions, labs and photowalks have to be added to a personal schedule, and Adobe warns that they will sell out, with a cap of three labs and one photowalk per attendee. Adobe also says attendance is limited and it expects MAX to sell out.
Driving in is practical, not a given. The FAQ lists 800 parking spaces at the convention center at $20 to $35 a day, with more lots nearby. Hotels and travel are not part of any pass.
The Free Option Is Real
Owners who cannot spare three days or $1,995 can still watch the headline moments. MAX Online is free and runs Nov. 10 and 11, with the Opening Keynote on Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m. EST, the Inspiration Keynote on Wednesday from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and Sneaks that evening from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Adobe says most online sessions will be available on demand after they premiere.
A sensible plan for a small studio is to send one person in person, schedule labs right after registering, and have the rest of the team follow along online. Agencies with three or more people attending save $300 a head at the group rate.
Who Should Go
The in person pass makes the most sense for working creatives who bill for Adobe tools: freelance designers, wedding and commercial photographers, video editors, social media managers, and agency owners deciding how far to lean into generative AI. Nonprofit and school staff should check the $1,295 promo rate first, and full time college students 18 and older can attend for $399 with a valid student ID.
For owners who simply want to understand where creative software is heading, the free keynotes and Sneaks are enough. Either way, the conference is close enough this year that the biggest cost is time, not travel.
